“Learning and teaching is an interaction that aims to free minds and to search for truth. As a learner, I continue to ask and challenge my own philosophies and search for truth. Often it is overwhelming and confusing. I think education should not interfere with learning. As a learner, we are subordinate in our own minds that no one can influence unless we give our consent. Education is set by society and offered to excite our personal learning process. My educators and mentors, technology and classroom environment are things that make learning more exciting and our capacities broader beyond our imagination. I believe the purpose of education is to produce citizens that will be assets to the community. Learning is the soul of education and not otherwise.” -Nadine Apilado
